DMR Diesel Repair was built from the ground up. Literally.
From mobile service, to a dirt lot, to pouring a slab and working in the Florida sun, to the fully operating shop we have today. No shortcuts. No handouts. Just grit, skill, and doing right by customers every step of the way.
Now the shop is growing fast and we’re ready for a lead technician who wants to help build something that lasts.
This role is for a tech who is confident in tough diagnostics, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants a real voice in how a shop runs.
What this role looks like
You’ll be the go-to person for complex diagnostics and bigger jobs. You’ll help set repair standards, keep work flowing, and be a steady presence for the team as we grow from a small shop into something much bigger.
You’ll still wrench, but you’ll also lead by example.

This is not flat rate.
Strong hourly base plus performance incentives designed for diagnostics and leadership, not rushing work.
The goal is stability, respect for your skill, and real upside for doing the hard stuff well. Total compensation lands in the 80,000– 95,000 range depending on experience and performance.
Schedule and Benefits

Paid holidays after 90 days
5 sick days and 5 vacation days after one year

Able to train and mentor other techs
Certifications aren’t required. Skill and mindset matter more. Training is provided and paid for.
