About the Role:
DMN Transport is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This mid-level position is responsible for customer invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and account reconciliation while working closely with our operations and accounting teams.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer invoices.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Communicate with customers regarding payments, billing questions, and account discrepancies.
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate account records.
- Investigate and resolve billing issues and deductions.
- Work with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Assist with collections and payment arrangements.
- Support various accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred in logistics field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
