Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively.
Duties
- safely operating & maintaining 48 ft flat bed & truck.
- Execute route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Proper securement of loads (tarping/strapping)
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
- Manage manual transmission vehicles when required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving techniques and navigation systems.
- 2 yrs flatbed experience. 3 yrs driving experience
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
