Position Overview:

We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on an hourly basis beginning in September 2026 (estimated). This person ideally is based in Savannah, GA, however there is flexibility to work remotely. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys using graphic design to tell stories and create experiences rather than simply designing for print or marketing. The designer will work closely with exhibit designers develop graphics that become part of physical museum environments. • Follow established visual identities for exhibitions
  • Create production-ready artwork for large-format printing and fabrication
  • Collaborate with exhibit designers to integrate graphics into three-dimensional spaces
  • Prepare files according to fabrication specifications
  • Assist with image research, photo editing, and illustration integration
  • Maintain organized project files and design standards across multiple projects

  • Familiarity with preparing files for large-format production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively within a small, creative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and enjoys learning about new subjects. You'll be designing experiences that help visitors connect with history, art, science, and culture, so an interest in storytelling and education is just as important as strong design skills.
