What You'll Do
- Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and legal support staff who genuinely have each other's backs.
- Develop case strategies and manage diverse immigration matters from start to finish.
- Handle family-based petitions, federal immigration litigation, and removal defense.
- Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and responses to NOIDs and RFEs.
- Prepare clients for court and USCIS interviews; attend hearings and interviews as needed.
- Conduct detailed legal research and maintain timely communication with clients.
- Keep accurate case files and notes using our client management system.
- Juris Doctor and active bar admission (any state)
- Fluent in Spanish-our clients' stories are told in many languages
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ethical, motivated, and able to thrive in a team-oriented setting
- Immigration law experience highly preferred, especially in family-based and deportation defense
- Previous case management experience a plus
