What You'll Do
- Work alongside the current Branch Manager to learn all aspects of branch operations and leadership.
- Lead and develop a team consisting of Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Warehouse staff, and Delivery Drivers.
- Manage daily branch operations while maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.
- Support inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse organization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Grow existing business while identifying new opportunities to increase market share.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, customers, suppliers, and key industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product offerings to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Assist with financial performance, operational planning, and branch profitability.
- Foster a positive, accountable culture built on teamwork, communication, and exceptional customer service.
- Experience within the building materials distribution industry (roofing, siding, windows, insulation, exterior products, lumber, or related products).
- Previous leadership experience managing teams that include sales, warehouse, and delivery personnel.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, inventory management, and customer service.
- Experience selling directly to contractors and construction professionals.
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable leading by example in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong business acumen with the potential to take on full P&L responsibility.
