This role is ideal for a sales leader who excels at team development, customer relationship management, and uncovering new market opportunities in a technical environment.
About The Role
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for both strategic oversight and day-to-day execution.
Key Areas Of Focus Include
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and support the utility-focused sales team, ensuring sales objectives are met and exceeded.
- Work with leadership to align team performance with broader organizational goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting order processing and responding to technical inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outreach and strong relationship building.
- Promote a diverse range of technical products and services to clients in the utility sector.
- Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure accuracy in order entry, quotations, and account setup.
- Maintain strong internal communication to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and issue escalation.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- 5 years previous sales or inside sales experience, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and understand product lines quickly; electrical industry knowledge is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
