Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, preparing patients for procedures, explaining the imaging process, positioning patients correctly and operating ultrasound equipment, evaluating image quality, and ensuring diagnostic information is available for physicians.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 1 year's of experience, but prefer 3 year's experience as a Sonographer in an outpatient or hospital setting
