HVAC Technician – Job Description & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, hydronic boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splitsPerform preventative maintenance and system inspectionsDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend proper solutionsRead and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsTest HVAC systems for proper operation, airflow, and efficiencyCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and maintenance optionsMaintain accurate service records and work ordersFollow all safety procedures and local building codesMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good conditionParticipate in on-call rotations as neededQualifications5 years HVAC experience preferred (or equivalent training/apprenticeship)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spacesStrong customer service and communication skillsPreferred (but not required)Ductless/VRF experienceNATE certificationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesPaid training and continuing educationCompany vehicle, tools, and uniformsPaid time off and holidays Company DescriptionWe are a growing Plumbing & HVAC company seeking skilled, dependable technicians to join our team.
