Job Summary

Local Insurance Agency looking for a Part- Time Customer Service Rep. with computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate department
  • Develop a positive, professional relationship with customers while providing accurate and timely information
  • Initialize new and existing customer accounts while following up to ensure satisfaction levels remain high
  • Update product information on website, social media, and other internal systems
  • Identify potential problems in customer service and resolve them before the customer reaches a point where they cannot be resolved
  • Update internal records with customer information
  • Maintain records of all interactions with customers in internal system. This includes daily activity logs, weekly activity reports, etc.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a CSR or similar position preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This includes the ability to write well, speak well, listen well, and understand what is being said to address problems or issues.
  • Customer service orientation. Ability to work as part of a team to address the needs of all customers.
