Auto Claim Specialist - Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Auto Claim Specialist to join DMA Claims, a nationwide claims support organization specializing in Auto insurance. DMA Claims offers cradle-to-grave claims handling and customized solutions through its Claims Service Solutions division. The ideal candidate must be located in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zone and have experience working for a TPA or nonstandard insurance company.

Responsibilities:
- Identify claim exposure and set reserves appropriately
- Establish initial contact and take statements from all applicable parties in both English and Spanish
- Take appropriate steps to assist the customer in loss mitigation
- Identify potential fraud and make referrals to the Special Investigations Unit where appropriate
- Investigate, analyze, and make appropriate coverage decisions
- Investigate, analyze, and make appropriate liability decisions
- Assign appraisal request to Material Damage
- Manage the repair process and any associated rental
- Make referrals for subrogation recovery
- Provide clear file documentation
- Submit risk alerts to underwriting where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required
- Licensed claim professional with a minimum of 3 years of adjusting experience resolving physical damage claims
- Experience working for a TPA or nonstandard insurance company
- Must be located in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zone
- Customer-focused with excellent service skills in both English and Spanish
- Flexible and team-oriented
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote/virtual work environment
- Seeking someone who is licensed in multiple states with Arizona being a requirment.
