What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at DM South?
DM South has immediate openings for construction laborers and electricians.
Job Duties:
- Strong work ethic and dependable
- Basic hand and power tool skills
- Willing to work outside in various weather conditions
- Excellent verbal communication, including working well with other employees, and have a great attitude
- Follow all company related safety and procedure guidelines
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order
- Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies from the truck to work site
- Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly
- Dig ditches / trenches
- Work on and from a ladder
- Pick up trash and left-over material on the job site before leaving
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- (1) year construction experience preferred
- Framing experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
