DLZ Corporation has a Maintenance Technician opportunity in our South Bend, Indiana office.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of DLZ buildings and grounds.
- Maintain HVAC systems.
- Repair plumbing and electrical systems.
- Perform interior and exterior painting.
- General maintenance of grounds, including snow and ice removal during winter months and landscaping.
- Perform roof inspections and minor repairs as needed.
- General maintenance of office spaces, including changing lamps, replacing ceiling tiles, moving furniture, and assisting with office setups.
- Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of the property.
- Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with DLZ health and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of building maintenance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of building operations and preventative maintenance practices.
- Experience with energy-saving ideas, materials, or equipment preferred.
- This position requires 50-60% travel to assigned DLZ office locations.
- Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
