About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly—from managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. What You’ll Do
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Maintain financial records and reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Collaborate with HR and leadership on payroll, benefits, and reporting needs
- Assist with audits and maintain organized documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll regulations
- Experience with accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, or similar)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
