Duties
DUTIES:
- Responsible for designing and implementing quality solutions within the Risk Domain of DLL including the Credit Scoring and Basel Compliancy Systems.
- Drive things forward through the SAFe / Agile process, including deployment to Production.
- Analyze business requirements and work with the business and functional owners to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and achievable.
- Design and implement quality solutions that meet the requirements.
- Ensure that the code meets development and secure coding standards.
- Provide functional and technical support during system, system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate and support deployments to Production, and provide production support during the after-care phase of a project.
- Ensure that all standard processes for changes are being followed in accordance with the Change Management policy.
- Coordinate with offshore developers on development tasks.
Telecommuting permitted up to 60%
REQUIREMENTS:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in an Agile Engineer-1-related occupation. Position requires:
- Demonstrable experience with development of J2EE applications using Java 8 or similar to make changes to existing custom Java applications within the Risk domain.
- Demonstrable experience with development using Spring and Hibernate frameworks to make changes to existing custom Java applications, that utilize Spring and Hibernate frameworks/ base classes, within the Risk domain.
- Demonstrable experience developing web services using SOAP and Rest.
- Demonstrable knowledge of writing and reading complex SQL queries.
- Demonstrable experience working with large scale applications and large amount of data.
- Demonstrable experience with Oracle 19c running in a Linux environment, knowledge of the custom developed risk applications that use Oracle as a Database for the application, and ability to write complex queries and recommend database changes based off of new requirements.
- Demonstrable experience with SAFe / Agile process and organization tools.
