Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through specialized care such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to uphold health standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, restroom maintenance, and replenishing supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Support housekeeping management with routine inspections and reporting on cleanliness levels
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products used for floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or housekeeper management is a plus
- Knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
