We are a high-growth, venture-backed fintech and crypto startup formed as a joint initiative with Hillhouse Capital. Our mission is to build next-generation digital asset infrastructure and financial services, bridging traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems. Backed by institutional capital and industry expertise, we operate at the intersection of blockchain innovation and global financial markets.

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale global operations. This role requires a deep understanding of both fintech and crypto ecosystems, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to build operational excellence in a fast-paced, regulatory-evolving environment.

The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive operational strategy, optimize performance, and ensure sustainable growth across all business units.

• Operational Leadership:
• Design, implement, and optimize company-wide operational strategies, processes, and KPIs.
• Business Scaling:
• Lead the scaling of core business functions including trading operations, product delivery, customer support, and compliance workflows.
• Cross-functional Management:
• Oversee and align departments such as Operations, Customer Success, Risk, Compliance, and Partnerships.
• Process Optimization:
• Build efficient, scalable systems and workflows to support rapid growth and international expansion.
• Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to U.S. and global crypto regulations.
• Data-driven Execution:
• Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting structures to drive informed decision-making.
• Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with leadership to define long-term strategy, OKRs, and operational roadmaps.
• Team Building:
• Recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across distributed environments.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in operations, ideally within fintech, crypto, or high-growth startups.
• Proven track record in scaling operations in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial markets.
• Experience working with global teams and remote-first organizations.
• Deep familiarity with regulatory frameworks in the U.S. and/or international markets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Data-oriented mindset with experience in operational analytics and performance management.

• Prior experience in a crypto exchange, DeFi platform, or digital asset infrastructure company.
• Experience managing multi-regional operations across North America, Asia, and Europe.
• Background in investment-backed or venture-funded environments.
