DLC is seeking a Business Development Intern to join our team in Chicago for an 8-week paid internship. This program offers a unique opportunity for college juniors to gain hands-on experience in business development within a leading finance and accounting consulting firm. Interns will work directly with the Sales Enablement and Business Development teams to support go-to-market strategies, outreach initiatives, and consultant engagement across DLC’s nationwide practice.

About Job:
- Conducting market research to identify key industry trends and potential client opportunities
- Analyzing outreach and business development data to assess campaign performance
- Assisting in the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives
- Supporting CRM management and data organization for client and consultant pipelines
- Collaborating with consultants and business development leaders to understand project types and delivery challenges
- Contributing to the creation of sales enablement materials, thought leadership, and internal reporting
- Presenting strategic findings and recommendations to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internship
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and comfort working with data-driven insights
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot preferred
- Team-oriented, curious, and proactive with a strong interest in consulting or business development
