What You’ll Do
As Partner, you will expand DLA's capabilities through hands-on practice building. Your day-to-day may include:
- Leading engagements in divorce financial consulting, forensic accounting for family law, and business valuation for high-net-worth marital disputes
- Providing expert witness testimony in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Advising attorneys and clients on equitable distribution, spousal support, child support, and lifestyle analysis
- Developing and executing strategic growth plans for our Family Law & Divorce Litigation Support practice
- Building client relationships and visibility through networking, thought leadership, and professional associations
- Managing and mentoring teams of consultants and analysts
We know great team members come from many paths. Typically, we look for:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 15 years of experience in matrimonial litigation support, family law consulting, or financial advisory for high-net-worth divorce
- Proven success as a financial expert witness in complex disputes
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Professional designations such as CPA, CVA, ABV, ASA, CFA, CFE, or CFF
- Membership in organizations like AAML, NACVA, or ASA a plus
