A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Qualifications:
To qualify for a Telecommunications Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. - Investigates, evaluates and determines requirements and diversified system capabilities for highly complex and sophisticated communications system in support of the worldwide missions of the activities serviced.
- Perform database management duties on Cable Assignment Information Retrieval System (CAIRS) and provisioning of telephone switching systems.
- Support recommendations establishing or improving the analog, digital and VoIP telecommunications systems supporting world-wide Department of Defense (DoD) and Agency's network access requirements.
