To qualify for a Visual Information Specialist (Training Design), your resume and supporting documentation must support:

To be found well-qualified as an ICTAP applicant, individuals need to demonstrate experience such as: Developing and producing visual information projects; Utilizing instructional methods such as teaching, training, research, making presentations, and testing; Developing or applying technology using text, audio, graphics, or other media.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

Drug-Free Workplace Policy
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is committed to maintaining a safe, drug-free workplace. All DLA employees are required to refrain from illegal drug use on and off duty. DLA conducts pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and random drug testing.

- Provides direct live support for distance learning, both online platforms and in state-of-the-art production studios.
- Designs course materials for virtual delivery platform, traditional classroom, and computer-based training (CBT), adhering to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Integrates advanced knowledge of design principles and adult learning theory with programming and multimedia skills to create functional, cohesive training products.
- Utilizes software skills including course authoring and video production software along with graphics software, both vector and raster, to create visually appealing and effective products.
- Transforms spoken or written descriptions of items, processes, issues, or events into visual representations without the benefit of existing pictures, models, or diagrams.
- Coordinates with Information Technology (IT) personnel to resolve information systems issues.
