We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using hand tools and power tools.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints for structural integrity.
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate construction processes.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, demolition, or restoration tasks.
- Use hand tools like trowels, chisels, hammers, and caulking guns to complete detailed finishing work.
- Support masonry, stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related trades as needed.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving carpentry, roofing, framing, or metal stud framing.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, heavy equipment, and commercial driving is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, or masonry enhances candidacy.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites.
