Job DescriptionThe Teller/Backup Loan Assistant is responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances. He or she balances each day's transactions and verifies cash totals. The Teller/Backup Loan Assistant performs specific assigned side-jobs and assists other Tellers with a variety of duties as required. He or she is responsible for providing clerical support for commercial lending activities under supervision which includes typing, preparing, and filing a variety of documents. The Teller/Backup Loan Assistant opens mail and performs miscellaneous clerical functions as needed. Prepares loan memorandums and other loan related documentsReviews loan application file to verify that application date is complete and meets establishment standardsVerifies, compiles, and types information for loansMay monitor disbursements on construction and development loansPrepares and executes funding of loan packages and documentation in accordance with establishment guidelines and policiesReviews and prepares loan documentation and files and types loan formsMay complete monthly Board of Director reportsBalances various general ledger accounts on daily, weekly and/or monthly basisCompany DescriptionD.L.
