- Running engineering teams delivering web platform features at scale
- Partnering with product and design to prioritize and ship roadmap
- Reviewing architecture decisions and guiding system design
- Hiring, mentoring, and leveling up engineers and managers
- Driving delivery predictability, performance, and reliability
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple web engineering teams building high-traffic applications
- Drive roadmap execution and unblock delivery across teams
- Own system design decisions for scalable, high-availability platforms
- Partner with product to shape features and customer experience
- Build and grow engineering teams, including hiring and performance management
- Set engineering standards across architecture, CI/CD, and testing
- Use metrics to improve delivery, quality, and team performance
- Step into technical discussions when needed and guide trade-offs
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 10 years building customer-facing software products at scale
- 5 years leading engineering teams (multiple teams preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern web stacks (React, Angular, Node.js, APIs)
- Experience designing and delivering high-scale web platforms (millions of users)
- Strong background in system design, scalability, and performance
- Experience working in Agile product environments
