Occupancy Specialist / Apartment Office Assistant for 168 Unit Section 8 apartment community located in San Jose.
Hours of work are Monday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Tuesday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Seeking a candidate with a “winning” personality, who is organized, and has good communication skills. MUST have project based HUD Section 8 experience; Primary responsibilities would include processing Annual Recertification’s, Interim Recertification’s, and Move-in Certification’s and assisting in all phases of Apartment Rental Office duties which include assisting residents; answering phones; preparing letters and notices; updating the waiting list; collecting and depositing rents; computer data entry; attending all company sponsored meetings; and any and all other work related requirements of the position. Prior HUD Section 8 processing experience a MUST and Real Page OneSite experience a plus.
Must pass a Criminal and DMV background check.
