Online Sales and Inventory Specialist

DK’s Cards & Games is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Online Sales & Inventory Specialist to help manage the online side of our growing trading card game business.

This position will focus primarily on online product listings, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management. While occasional customer-facing responsibilities may be required, this is not primarily a retail sales position and will have limited involvement with our in-store events and tournaments.

A large portion of our business involves buying, processing, listing, selling, and shipping trading cards and related products. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently, follow established processes, maintain a high level of accuracy, and help keep our online inventory moving.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Creating and maintaining online product listings across our sales platforms
• Processing trading card singles and other products for online sale
• Accurately identifying, sorting, organizing, and entering inventory
• Maintaining accurate quantities, pricing, and product information
• Printing, picking, packing, and preparing online orders for shipment
• Ensuring orders are packaged safely, professionally, and accurately
• Keeping shipping materials and work areas organized and stocked
• Receiving and processing new inventory
• Organizing inventory so products can be located quickly and efficiently
• Checking completed work for errors before products are listed or orders are shipped
• Assisting with inventory counts and correcting inventory discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Following DK’s Cards & Games procedures for inventory handling, card condition, shipping, and online listings
• Helping identify ways to improve the efficiency of our online sales and inventory processes
• Assisting with general store duties when online responsibilities are completed or additional help is needed

Online Sales Expectations

Online sales are an important part of the continued growth of DK’s Cards & Games. This position will be expected to maintain a consistent level of productivity throughout each shift.

Employees in this role should be comfortable working independently from an established task list and moving from one responsibility to the next without requiring constant direction.

The ideal candidate understands that tasks such as listing inventory, processing orders, organizing products, and correcting inventory records require both speed and accuracy. Productivity is important, but completed work must also meet our standards.

Customer-Facing Responsibilities

This position is primarily focused on behind-the-scenes operations.

Occasional responsibilities may include:

• Greeting or assisting customers when necessary
• Answering basic questions about products or store policies
• Assisting the retail team during particularly busy periods
• Helping customers with online order pickups
• Operating the point-of-sale system when additional coverage is needed

Regular event management, tournament organization, and participation in store events are not primary responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications

Previous experience in e-commerce, shipping, inventory management, retail operations, or trading card games is helpful, but not required.

Trading Card Game Knowledge

Knowledge of trading card games such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, or other TCGs is a plus, but extensive game knowledge is not required.

For this position, being organized, accurate, dependable, and willing to learn our systems is more important than being an experienced player.

Employees will be trained on the product knowledge necessary to complete their responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

• Sitting or standing for extended periods
• Regular computer use
• Sorting and handling large quantities of trading cards
• Repetitive packing, sorting, and inventory tasks
• Bending, reaching, and retrieving inventory from storage areas
• Lifting and moving boxes of inventory and shipping supplies

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 35.0 per week
