Job Summary
*We are seeking a dedicated, kind and energetic Direct Support Professional (SSP) to provide support for a sweet and outgoing individual in her home and out in the community.
We are hiring for multiple shifts, both daytime and overnight.

Schedule:
Overnight shifts are 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Looking for Sunday-Thursday and some weekend availability as needed and worked out to cover other staff. We are also looking for daytime and evening hours and could be combined.
About the job:
*Candidate should be encouraging, positive, caring, and committed to motivating and assisting individuals with intellectual disabilities with living their life with independence, choice, inclusion, and respect. Must also be patient, reliable, a good communicator, and listener.
*Must work well as a team player. Will be following an ISP and Behavior Support Plan as well as documenting in daily notes
*For overnights, the primary responsibilities include safety, independent living skills, hygiene, and creating a safe environment and encouraging atmosphere in the home. Overnight SSPs can rest at night but must be available if needed.
*Must pass all required background checks, have a driver's license and safe driving record
*Must be certified in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver, training can be provided
*Must complete training with the Arc (Arc AWC, Bethlehem, PA)
*Pay for overnight shifts is $20.20 /hour (note: pay is higher for daytime and evening hours)
*Staff car is provided
*Home is a non-smoking environment
