Leading Chemical Manufacturer seek experienced Maintenance Manager lead the Plant Maintenance team.
This role involves leading a team of Lead technicians and technicians to ensure equipment operates with minimum downtime, while maximizing operational efficiency and equipment life.
This is a pilot plant with sophisticated, modern equipment (turbines, compressors, centrifuges, high pressure steam networks, DCS process control equipment, electrical equipment, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the plant maintenance team, overseeing planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Establish and drive reliability strategy, including RCM and TPM, to improve performance, efficiency, and asset life.
- Define and track KPIs to measure equipment reliability, workforce productivity, and cost performance.
- Manage the maintenance budget, control costs, and optimize spare parts inventory.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment issues.
- Partner with production, technology, and supply chain to align priorities, reduce downtime, and enhance operational excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Process Safety Management standards.
- Support capital projects, de-bottlenecking initiatives, and plant expansion activities.
- Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through coaching and workforce development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 15 years of maintenance experience in petrochemical or chemical manufacturing environments, with prior leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams in a high reliability industrial setting.
- Strong hands on technical expertise with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
- Deep knowledge of modern maintenance and reliability best practices.
- Proficiency with maintenance management systems and tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
