Construction Flagger.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Main job responsibilities will be flagging and spotting for large equipment. Including forklifts, snorkel lifts, and other large equipment.
- Assist equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members when needed.
- Work around excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, and other construction equipment.
- Follow instructions from foremen and project managers.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, damaged equipment, or other concerns.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to help complete projects safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working on large construction jobsites.
- At least 1 year of experience flagging.
- Ability to follow directions and work and communicate as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to get to the jobsite in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and construction activities.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
- Must be willing to perform a variety of tasks rather than being limited to one specific job.
This position may require frequent physical activity, including:
- Walking and standing for extended periods.
- Working on uneven or rough terrain.
- Working around dust, dirt, noise, and heavy equipment.
- Working outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other adverse weather conditions.
- Lifting and carrying materials and tools up to 50lbs when needed
- Bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
