Vegetation Control Crew Member
Lead the charge in outdoor property care. DJ’s Landscape Management is looking for a hands-on Vegetation Control Crew member to assist a small team keeping our commercial client sites looking sharp all season long. Whether you're hand-pulling stubborn weeds or utilizing professional spray applications, your work makes an immediate visual impact. Already licensed? Awesome. Not licensed yet? Requirements
- The ability to walk for long periods of time
- Able to carry a backpack sprayer weighing up to 50 pounds
- The ability to take direction from the crew lead and work as team
- The ability to identify common weeds of Minnesota
- The ability to operate and care for assigned equipment
- Skill in reading map directions from a mobile device or hard copy
- Desire to work daily at the highest level of professionalism, quality, and performance
- Desire to work with a team to accomplish goals
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift for long periods of time
- Able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions for an extended period of time.
- A valid license or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to read pesticide labels and accurately measure pesticides according to label rate.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Smartphone required
