We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-focused Business Developer to help grow our commercial landscape management, landscape construction, and snow removal business across Minnesota.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people, identifying opportunities, and turning relationships into long-term partnerships. You’ll work with commercial property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and other decision-makers to develop new business and expand existing relationships. If you’re a relationship builder who knows how to find opportunities, earn trust, and close business, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and pursue new commercial landscape, construction, and snow removal opportunities
• Build strong relationships with property managers, owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other commercial decision-makers
• Prospect through networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry events, and other business development activities
• Conduct site visits and meet with prospective customers to understand their needs
• Develop proposals, estimates, and presentations in partnership with operations and estimating teams
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet revenue and activity goals
• Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat and referral business
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing customers
• Stay informed about local market conditions, competitors, pricing, and industry trends
• Work closely with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in commercial landscaping, snow removal, construction, property management, facilities, or a related industry is strongly preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Comfortable making cold calls, networking, and generating your own leads
• Confident meeting with customers and presenting proposals
• Strong business judgment and the ability to understand customer needs and identify solutions
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with an operations team
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the service area
• Experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related role preferred
