Cashier
We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include educating customers on our menu, making recommendations, upselling and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter, provide menus and recommendations.
- Take orders while paying attention to details
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Prepare beverages following recipes and company standards
- Serve beverages and prepared baked goods
- Ensure pricing is accurate
- Receive and process payment
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Redeem coupons
- Keep the area clean and stocked with supplies
- Notifies kitchen of shortages or special orders
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Skills
- Work experience as a Cashier, Barista, Wait staff or a similar role in sales
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Flexibility to work various shifts
