JOB SUMMARY Teaching the assigned subject and enabling each student to pursue his/her education in the absence of the regular teacher.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)
Be at least 18 years old, with preference given to persons 21 years old or older. Possess good morale character. Must have completed a minimum of 60 hours of college credit or have obtained an Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Prefer two years of work experience with children.

Performs duties under the supervision of the Building Principal.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer. See and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors and on the telephone. Possesses the physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds, ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and to reach overhead.
