Title : Technical Architect – D365
Location : Seattle WA
Description
- Define system architecture, extension strategies (avoiding over-layering), customization approaches, and coding standards.
- Design integration strategies for connecting D365 with external ERPs (SAP, Oracle), third-party applications, payment gateways, and logistics systems.
- Decide on REST APIs vs Service Bus, real-time vs batch, and middleware vs direct integration. Exposure to SPS Commerce Integration is an advantage.
- Define data migration approaches using DMF and Data Entities. Design data models ensuring consistency, scalability, and high-performance underload.
- Establish coding standards, review code, and enforce best practices. Identify and resolve performance issues, security flaws, and poor design patterns.
- Tune batch jobs, queries, and data entities. Proactively identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance before go-live.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Manage environments (Dev, UAT, Prod) and oversee release management.
- Define roles, privileges, and access policies. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
