Dizario Search is currently recruiting for a Sustaining Engineer to join an established aerospace manufacturing organization. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being hands-on, solving complex manufacturing problems, and working directly with production and cross-functional teams.
The Sustaining Engineer will provide ongoing engineering support for existing aerospace products and manufacturing processes. This person will troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, implement engineering improvements, and help ensure products continue to meet quality, cost, reliability, and customer requirements throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and production, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems that impact production.
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to product, process, and manufacturing issues.
- Support engineering changes, design improvements, and process modifications for existing aerospace products.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to improve production processes, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions, specifications, and technical data supporting ongoing production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, preferably in a production or sustaining engineering environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in root-cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
