Process Engineer

Dizario Search is partnered with a growing leader in the plastics and rubber manufacturing industry, and they seeking a Process Engineer to support a major expansion initiative and help drive operational excellence across their manufacturing operations.

This is a highly visible, hands-on engineering role where you’ll work directly on the production floor to optimize processes, improve equipment performance, and support the launch of new manufacturing systems. The position offers the opportunity to play a key role in scaling operations, solving complex production challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact plant performance.

Process Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and efficiency goals
• Assist with startup, commissioning, and ramp-up activities for new production equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to reduce downtime and improve operational performance
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cost savings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and drive process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in engineering is required
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics, rubber, resins, or continuous process manufacturing preferred)
• Strong mechanical/process troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment, process systems, or plant operations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process documentation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and on the plant floor
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
