What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Rentals Assistant position at DIY Party Rentals of Worcester?
DIY Party Rentals of Worcester is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and reliable team member to help create memorable events for families throughout the Worcester area.
This is a fun, hands-on position that combines event setup, customer service, social media, and personal assistant responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Interacting with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Delivering, Setting up and taking down a variety of party rentals, tables, chairs, pop-up tents, games, and other party items
- Helping customers load and unload rental items
- Carrying and organizing tables, chairs, games, and other party rental items
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing rental equipment
- Helping create and post content on social media platforms
- Performing a variety of personal assistant and administrative tasks for the business owner.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Friendly, Energetic, outgoing, and dependable
- Comfortable talking with customers and interacting with children
- Able to lift and carry various party equipment, including folding tables and bags of chairs
- Organized and willing to help with a variety of tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Interested in social media, photography, or content creation (a plus)
- Reliable and punctual
Requirements:
- Must have valid MA Drivers License
- Must be able to drive a minivan for some deliveries and pickups in the Worcester area
- Ability to lift/carry party equipment up to 50 lbs
- Weekend availability is required
