What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic position at Dixie Truck Shop?
Dixie Truck Shop serves a variety of customers, but primarily repairs business fleet vehicles of all sizes, from heavy duty diesel trucks to gas work vans, and all in between. We complete jobs ranging from tires, maintenance, to engine rebuilds, transmission swaps, in depth diagnosis, drivetrain repairs, emissions, etc. We're growing in the market of semi trucks so we need another tech experienced in working on semis. Applicants need to be willing to deliver high quality service regardless of the task assigned.
Normal hours are 8:00-4:30 M-F, but flexibility is required for nights and occasional weekends. We expect flexibility but also provide flexibility in return.
We currently have three mechanics, so we have a great small business atmosphere where employees are valuable members of the team. We have very high expectations for quality of work and efficiency.
Our primary need is an experienced heavy diesel truck mechanic with great diagnosis skills and great work ethic. Initial pay offer will vary greatly based on experience and capabilities. Basic tools required.
