Fabricator/Fitter

Currently we are looking for highly motivated individuals to work as Shop Welders at our Open Shop (non-union) location in Duette. Our standard four-day work schedule is 6:00 am – 4:30pm Monday to Thursday. Overtime hours offered most weeks.

To qualify for the position, candidates will be required to pass a 2G & 3G welding test on ½” plate with MIG Flux Core (FCAW) and HARDWIRE (GMAW).

The position will include the following responsibilities:

• Tank experience preferred or comparable industrial/manufacturing experience
• MIG, TIG, SAW welders
• No stick or construction welders
• Can read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge/use of common power and hand tools
• Ability to lift from floor, 50lbs
• Ability to follow all safety postings and meeting points
• Reliably commute to Duette, FL 34219 for this job
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Ability to work in and around an open-air manufacturing shop and adjacent property
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as hardhat, safety glasses, etc.
• Ability to use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings to determine specific welding requirements and/or procedures
