Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for efficient order processing
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices at all times
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy café environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability
