What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Dixie Plywood & Lumber Co?
Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to – overseeing the planning, execution, and quality of a high-pressure laminate lamination line, panel saw, and hand trimming; ensuring efficient production, adherence to safety and quality standards, resource management, and team leadership to
meet production targets and company goals.
Key responsibilities also include managing production schedules, supervising staff, conducting site and equipment inspections, implementing cost controls, and
collaborating with other departments for smooth operations. Working with business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver initiatives that drive excellence in processes and technology.
The ideal candidate would bring proven leadership and industry experience. The individual placed in this position will be expected to carry out the values of Dixie Plywood, while demonstrating strong leadership skills. This position requires strong knowledge, skills and experience of compliance, safety standards, and industry quality standards. Must be able to uphold the company’s standards while providing exceptional customer service to our customers and motivating and keeping the morale high with employees.
