What are the responsibilities and job description for the EWP Warehouse position at DIXIE PLYWOOD CO OF WASHINGTON D C?
Recieve, store and load building material for distribution to customers. Must have ability to effectively and safely handle a forklift. Must be able to read customer order, shipping order, purchase order and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, and distributed. Must have the skill to count and perform simple arithmetic. Must possess the capability to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming merchandise from railcars or trucks, and to load outgoing deliveries. Must be able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documents.
Must have the ability to measure and cut wood/beams as instructed. Must help to keep warehouse clean and orderly. Need to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material.
