What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Skilled Laborer position at Dixie Overland Construction?
Minimum Job Requirements:
· *MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION*
· Minimum 18 Years Old
· A valid Driver’s License or State issued ID, Social Security Card, or Work permit
· Minimum 6 months experience working outdoors
Job Duties:
· Keep the job-site clean and free of trash, debris and all hazards including job trailer/mobile office. This includes cleaning the tools and equipment.
· Load and unload construction materials and equipment
· Assist all members on the team including Skilled Laborers, Foreman, and Superintendents
· Follow proper safety procedures
· Perform manual labor including, but not limited to painting, piping, wood working, digging, excavating, sheet piling, concrete forming, sodding
· Know how to properly use basic hand tools: hammer, tape measurer and wrench
