Communication and transparency are a must have between the RVP and each reporting manager, all correspondence from every department is led by your guidance. You must be confident yet thoughtful in decision making. Organization and communication with all departments is a necessity. Leadership is a way of life, not just in the workplace, continue to learn, grow, and set goals for oneself. Learning how to delegate responsibilities when appropriate will not only benefit your success but grow your team to be successful as well.

- Able to read and understand reports that keeps your team accountable and successful
- Manage efficient inventory and master the ability to diversify products for growth
- Oversee reports for operations to help maintain an accurate inventory level
- Trained in each aspect of our business, Sales, Operations, & customer service
- Establish goals and motivate sales for success, create opportunity and incentives
- Develop strategies for your market, both proven methods and unique methods
- Establish a successful presence within the Apartment Association, participation required
- Attend industry events, network with Apt. clients as well as other vendors
- Create and maintain relationships with all clients (Top to Bottom) as well as the decision makers in the industry.
- Hold effective meetings and influence your team for success when challenges arise
- Drive sales, grow your business and understand customer retention
- Maintain relationships with Sub-Contractors, enough so that they know you and trust you
- Work with our executive leaders and other RVP’s throughout Dixie to ensure top level performance
- Responsible for Employee evaluation and termination within Dixie guidelines
- Stop negativity in it’s tracks when it first arises, always be a positive influence
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be a master of patience, respect, and resilience
- Stay aligned with market trends and competitor activity. Know your market
- Management from Top to Bottom of all personnel, oversee all workflow
- Must always be professional and a role model
- Product and Installation knowledge. The BUCK STOPS HERE.
- Trained in Excel, Word Doc, Power Point, Outlook, Measure Square, and SAGE, & DATASELF and any other related software.
- Able to read and understand reports that keeps your team accountable and successful
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the flooring industry
- Ability to sit at computer monitor for extended periods throughout the day.
- Must possess the ability to stand for extended periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 10 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
