We are currently seeking candidates for a Night Shift Team Leader. We are looking for a safety-oriented, energetic individual to join our team!
Reporting to the Sawmill Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for the overall results (safety, quality, production) of the night shift, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.
Qualifications:
- Committed to top performance in a safe work environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Available to work flexible hours
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Lead and cultivate a collaborative production team
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety programs
- Duties include scheduling personnel and weekly payroll submission
- Training, developing, and coaching employees
- Work with the team to maintain company cleanliness standards
- Lead and participate in improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness
