We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for an opportunity at our White Pine Operation in Dixfield Maine. We are looking for a safety oriented, energetic individual to lead our sawmill mechanical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in safety, quality, cost, and employee engagement to the maintenance team.
- Supervise maintenance team of millwrights while working closely with other supervisors and managers.
- Meeting established production specifications, schedules and quality standards.
- Analyze production and maintenance trends to identify problems in order to recommend solutions to improve performance of machine centers.
- Support and ensure preventive maintenance program is on track.
- Perform all other related tasks that will help drive both the maintenance department and overall success of the mill.
- Prioritize maintenance repairs and modifications.
Qualifications:
- Education Preferred: Mechanical Engineering or 5 years relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Years of Experience Preferred: 2 years of relevant supervisory experience.
- A strong commitment to safety and an understanding to behavior-based safety programs.
- Understanding & Experience in Process Improvement is an asset.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and career development.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a multidisciplinary environment, with a high level of detail.
- Organizational, prioritizing and time management skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
