TITLE OF POSITION: DSE Level 2 Classroom Paraprofessional

Temporary Position - 3 hours per day

STARTING DATE: 2025-26 School Year

CLOSING DATE: November 24, 2025

Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Special Education Parapro to our middle school staff. Special Education Aide must be both physically and mentally able to work with students with special needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with youth strongly preferred

Duties (non exhaustive list):

• Work with teachers, ancillary staff and administration toward the implementation of IEP academic, functional, and behavioral objectives
• Implement instructional plans provided by special and general education teachers, speech and language teacher and other professional staff
• Provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
