Dix Road Cleaners in Jefferson City is looking for a dependable, detail-focused Garment Presser to join our production team. You'll operate professional pressing equipment and finish garments to a high quality standard in a busy dry cleaning plant. What you'll do: Run steam presses, shirt units, and other finishing equipment on shirts, pants, dresses, suits, and jackets Check garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, or quality issues Keep up with daily production flow and prioritize rush items Handle every garment carefully to avoid damage, shrinkage, or scorching Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe Follow all machine safety procedures Help with other plant tasks as needed — sorting, bagging, quality checks, packaging Hours: start at 7:00 AM, typically done between 12:00 and 3:00 PM depending on volume What we're looking for: Garment pressing or dry cleaning experience preferred — we'll train the right person Sharp eye for detail and pride in quality work Comfortable in a warm, fast-paced production environment Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs Positive attitude, solid work ethic, team player A plus: Valid driver's license and able to drive a company vehicle for store transfers or pickups if needed
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
