Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, polished Server/Bartender to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate thrives in a full-service dining environment, can deliver exceptional table service, and is comfortable stepping behind the bar when needed. This is a dual-role position suited for someone who is versatile, professional, and guest-focused.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable table service throughout the dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate with kitchen staff
- Bartend as needed — mix cocktails, serve beer and wine, and manage the bar area
- Maintain knowledge of our menu, specials, and beverages to make confident recommendations
- Handle guest needs promptly and professionally, including complaints or special requests
- Process payments accurately using our POS system
- Set up and break down dining and bar areas according to restaurant standards
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-service or casual restaurant
- Basic Bartending experience required (cocktail knowledge a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy service
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Food handler certification preferred; alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) a plus
- Familiarity with Indian cuisine or willingness to learn is a bonus
