Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, assisting with the front of house, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible drinking practices are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service.
- Manage take-outs and online orders.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
- Proven cash handling skills with experience using POS systems.
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills, with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
